In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Artisan Grain Collaborative launched a program to highlight the importance of regional food systems and to support area farmers, millers, bakers, and eaters.
1. You purchase Neighbor Loaves from participating bakeries.
2. Bakers source grain from local sustainable farms and bake Neighbor Loaves which contain at least 50% locally grown stone-milled flour.
3. Neighbor Loaves are distributed to community feeding organizations to support your neighbors in need.
How To Participate
Every week, we will bake any Neighbor Loaves purchased throughout the week and distribute them to community members in need through Community Hunger Solutions. Whenever possible, we will also have Neighbor Loaves available for community members to pick up at Magpie Gelato during retail hours.
